Our Imagination

There is a place that only some can know,
It's a place where you cannot tell all,
Where you will need to use your imagination
Because if not all will fail.

It's a place with mountains that reach higher than the clouds,
And trees that are bigger than the biggest oceans,
Where the grasses are mighty, strong and tall,
And the flowers bloom their everlasting blossom.

Where the rivers run with the sweetest song,
And the falls blast out of the strongest stones,
Where the woods are filled with a beautiful fragment,
And the floor is a piney loft.

Where the fowl fly high below the outstretched sky
And the deer run as swift as the wind
While the cats play as soft as a kitten
And the beaver finds his home by the blasting river.

And now there are the beautiful plums
Rich and juicy hanging on the strong branch
Of a tall and glorious tree
That stands in the outstretched prairie.

And the fish that jump high above the water top
Landing with a splash of excitement
And the crystal that lies above the water
Shining in the burning sun.

But Oh! There is more than can be told
More than a mind can reach
And there is more that you should find out
So go and use your own imagination

Find the things that are impossible to be ever told
And go find the wonderful mysteries
Of this beautiful land far out
The land of the everlasting paradise.

Hope you have enjoyed it!

  1. Oh my goodness! Did you write this Zoe?? I love it! Great work. I like how you talk about 'the things that are impossible to be ever told.' So true. You have some really good word-pictures in here, like 'outstretched prairie' and 'blasting river' and 'shining in the burning sun'. So good. Keep writing!

Thanks for telling me about your blog in your letter; I didn't realize you had one, but I'm glad I've found it! It's saved to my favorites and I'll definitely be coming back to visit and check for new posts.
